Missions are jobs offered by NPC companies. They are an important way to earn money and reputation.

Mission rewards, generation rates, targets, and difficulty can change as the game is balanced.

For mission ideas or public discussion, use the Hacker Corp Discord.

Hack a company server and delete the requested file.

Download a specified file from one company and upload it to the company that hired you.

Crack a bank account and report its current balance.

Move money from a source bank account to a destination account.

Use a DDoS attack to damage or take down a target server.

Mission level is based mainly on your Cracker version.

Higher-level missions involve stronger NPC software and better rewards.

Some companies only offer missions after you discover them and add them to your Hacked Database.

The First Whois is a good place to begin finding public companies.

Missions are generated automatically during the round. If no missions are available, wait for the next generation cycle or discover more companies.

Aborting a mission can cost money and reputation. Make sure you can reach the target before accepting a difficult job.
